The Full-time MBA degree
The full time MBA degree reflects the realities of business: The world of business is not a tidy arrangement of subjects. Managers cannot also neatly schedule their financial issues. On the Ashridge full time MBA, you will learn from faculties who have earned their living at the sharp end of business. Ashridge conducts research but not for research sake. We are not about theory in isolation. Theory is useless unless it can be applied. We find out what companies are doing, and how they can compete. You will study for your full time MBA degree in a small, interactive group. Program fees: 29,500 GBP (no application fee)
The Part-time MBA
This program allows you to spread your MBA degree aver two years without lost your career. Not only are you gaining advanced skills which will enhance your performance within the organization, but in addition you will base your EMBA course assignments on your company’s current issues and develop practical solutions to resolve them. Programme fees: 28,850 (GBP) exc. VAT (no application fee)
The admission
Talking about your academic ability and work experience and looking for evidence of the following:
- Clarity of career goals and how they fit with the MBA.
- Your ability to contribute in an environment that emphasizes small group sizes and peer group learning.
- A track record of achievement.
The following guidelines offer the ‘usual’ minimum entry requirements. However, each case will be considered on its own merit.
- The full-time MBA: GMAT, minimum 550, TOEFL (iBT) minimum 100+
IELTS Minimum 7, a first degree is desired, however, significant (five years) professional experience candidates will be considered. - The part-time MBA: GMAT is not compulsory for EMBA but usually candidates are required to take the Ashridge admissions test. And for others admissions are same with Full-time MBA’s.
Scholarship
Ashridge offers a small number of bursaries to self-financed participants on the Full Time MBA. To be eligible you must first:
- apply and be accepted on one of our MBA programmes
- be able to state the grounds on which you are applying.
Bursary applicants are asked to complete an essay in application for the award by competitive basis. In exceptional circles, scholarships may be awarded to self-funded participants on the Executive MBA. These are considered on a case by case basis.
Loan
It is financed by NatWest Bank and is administered by the Association of MBAs (AMBA).
For UK residents, you must fulfill the following criterias:
- be 18 years old or over (usually not over 40)
- be a permanent UK resident (i.e. three years minimum immediately prior to starting your MBA)
- have a place on an MBA program accredited by the Association of MBAs. (Ashridge is AMBA accredited)
- have at least five years of practical work experience within industry or commerce, or, if you are a graduate, you must have at least three years of work experience
