The grant is usually awarded for a maximum of 2 years for a Master’s degree programme, and a maximum of 4 years for a PhD. For PhD, part of the research should be conducted in the home country and part in Groningen .
The grant covers the tuition fees plus the costs of international travel, subsistence, books, and health insurance. It covers expenses incurred in travelling to and from the Netherlands for PhD candidates for a maximum of 4 times.
ESCP Europe Master In European Business (MEB) Scholarships 2011-2012
ESCP Europe values high quality education and we are dedicated to helping our students finance their studies in order to achieve their goals.
The Master in European Business programme (MEB) is pleased to offer 3 types of scholarships based on merit and financial need. They may be cumulative.
- Scholarships based on financial needs: This scholarship of €3,000 each has been established to help any MEB students with proven financial needs pursue their studies.
- Scholarships based on merit: Eligibility for this grant of 3,000 € each is based on results achieved during admissions tests. Decisions on selected students for this scholarship will be made by the MEB International Board of Directors.
- Scholarships based on MEB results: These scholarships of € 2,000 will be based on results obtained during the MEB academic year. Successful students will receive this grant at the end of December.
Oxford And Cambridge Scholarships 2011 from The Said Foundation

The Said Foundation is a charity based in the UK. One of our aims is to promote education and development in the Middle East. August 2011 INSEAD Scholarships MBA Programme
INSEAD Scholarships are the most sought-after source of financial assistance. They are limited in number and there is significant competition for each award. These scholarships are granted under various criteria and essentially there are two basic categories of scholarships:
Need-based: demonstrate financial need
Non-need based: based on either merit, nationality, gender, professional background, leadership abilities, field of previous studies etc.

The program is funded by ExxonMobil and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE). Islamic Development Bank M.Sc. Scholarship Programme Academic Year 1432H
The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) is delighted to announce that applications can be submitted for scholarships under the M.Sc. Scholarship Programme in Science and Technology for IDB Least Developed Member Countries (LDMCs) for the 1432H/(2011-2012) academic year. The scholarships will be awarded with effect from September 2011.
The Programme awards fifty (50) scholarships for a two-year M.Sc. degree course in disciplines that enhance development in IDB Least Developed Member Countries such as science, engineering, technology and medicine in academic institutions of IDB member countries. Three (3) of the scholarships have been allocated for statistics and related disciplines such as applied statistics, demography and econometrics.

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants MBA Scholarships 2011-2012
The scholarships are awarded to those individuals who best represent Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ACCA’s core values of opportunity, innovation, diversity, accountability and integrity. In addition, members also need to demonstrate how the MBA programme will make a positive contribution to their own career, the accounting profession and the community in which they live.
Who is eligible to apply?
Any ACCA member that fulfils the following criteria is eligible to apply for the MBA scholarship:
- be an ACCA member of good standing
- have regular access to IT facilities
- admitted to ACCA membership less than 10 years ago
- minimum of three-years’ professional/managerial experience
- not already registered as a student on the MBA programme.
ESMT Scholarships
Still available for January 2011 intake
ESMT is still accepting applications for its Full-time MBA program beginning January 2011 in Berlin. Several merit-based scholarships remain available.
Specific opportunities for financial support are still available for candidates who meet at least one of the following criteria:
* Strong quantitative academic background and at least three years’ experience in technology operations/technology sales
* Citizen of a BRIC state with an academic background in energy/engineering, telecoms or manufacturing and professional experience in MIS or R&D
* Citizen from Central and Eastern Europe: scholarships provided by the Bennigsen-Foerder-Stiftung
* Engineering degree with experience in the solar energy/photovoltaic sector
* First or second generation immigrants to Germany with a first degree with at least three years’ professional experience
* Women from all sectors with exceptionally strong quantitative skills
* Applicants from areas such as Africa, the Middle East, and Asia for further regional, merit-based partial scholarships
MBA Scholarships 2011 from Westminster Business School
Westminster Business School offers a limited number of part -fee waiver scholarships for the MBA Programme. These vary from 75% – 20%. The process is competitive and we give preference to people employed in public or third sector organisations who wish to remain in those sectors after they have graduated.
Scholarships include the Dean’s Scholarship for academic excellence (worth 75% fee waiver), where you will need to write a short essay on a specified topic. There is also a Women’s Scholarship worth 50% fee waiver for a female student. Again, you will need to write essay on a specified topic. General Scholarships are usually between a 50-20% fee waiver.
Scholarships are awarded based on your academic record, career progression, and evidence of leadership ability. We will also give consideration to your personal statement.
