Fulbright MBA Award, UK

Each year one award is offered to a UK citizen in support of the first year of an MBA programme, at any accredited US institution (except Harvard Business School). The recipient will work with the Fulbright Commission and the Institute of International Education (IIE) to find the right department for them.

Award Benefits

Grants are for up to £25,000 paid in instalments directly to the grantee, the first of which is typically given just prior to departure from the UK. This funding is intended as a contribution towards the first year of tuition fees and general maintenance costs whilst in the US. University application and entrance exam fees, limited sickness and accident benefit coverage, visa sponsorship and processing and participation in a number of Fulbright Scholar events are also included.

Wharton University of Pennsylvania MBA Program Grants and Fellowships

Approximately 30% of first-year students receive a merit-based fellowship. Application for these funds are made through the admissions application. We strongly encourage fellowship applications from all students. Besides financial need and merit, criteria for selection of awards may also include personal background, academic and extracurricular achievement, leadership, community involvement, interpersonal skills, integrity, and honesty. All applications are reviewed by the Fellowship Committee to identify and select the best recipients.

Other fellowships and assistantships are available for second-year students who apply during their first year. These include Leadership Fellowships, Admissions Graduate Assistantships, and Omnicom Communications Fellowships. Adelaide Fee Postgraduate Scholarships International (AFSI) for Students from Any Country

Up to 15 scholarships may be available in 2011 to outstanding international students from any country undertaking postgraduate research in any academic discipline. Benefits are payment of full tuition fees for the normal duration of the program. The sole selection criteria for the Adelaide Fee Scholarships International (AFSI) will be academic merit. Unlike the IPRS, the AFSI applicants do not need to be applying to an area of research strength in the University. The Research Priority Areas of the University will be taken into consideration when awarding these scholarships.

Applicants should hold at least the equivalent of an Australian First Class Honours degree. This is a four year degree with a major research project in the final year. Other criteria that will be taken into consideration is undergraduate performance, bachelor and honours awards and scholarships, other postgraduate degrees, publications in internationally refereed journals, the presentation of conference papers and relevant industry experience.

The Gordon R. McCulloch MBA Scholarship at the University of Edinburgh

The Gordon R. McCulloch Scholarship is awarded to a student from an African or Latin American country as classified by the UN. The scholarship will be worth £5,000.

Eligibility

The scholarship is open to applicants who are citizens and residents of African or Latin American countries, as classified by the UN, and who are applying for admission onto the Full-time MBA or MBA in International Business in September 2010. Applicants who hold full sponsorships or who are entitled to fee omission are not eligible for the scholarship. If an applicant is successful in being awarded the scholarship, but subsequently declines their offer of admission on the MBA programme, the award of the scholarship will be withdrawn and awarded to another applicant.

Cyprus Scholarships for Master in Business Administration (MBA) or Master in Public Sector Management (MPSM)

The Republic of Cyprus is offering up to a total of sixteen (16) full scholarships of 12-months duration to study for the attainment of the Master in Business Administration (MBA) or Master in Public Sector Management (MPSM)* title for the academic year 2010-2011. The Universities taking part in the scheme are: the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM), the European University Cyprus (EUC), the University of Cyprus (UCY) and the University of Nicosia (UNIC). Each University will receive up to four (4) students who will attend the above study programme as official scholarship holders from the Republic of Cyprus. Eligible candidates are citizens of the list of scholarship recipient countries for the academic year 2010-2011, as per the distribution shown below:

University of Edinburgh Business School Leadership Scholarships

Three Leadership Scholarships are awarded to students from any country in the University of Edinburgh Business School. Each scholarship has a value of £10,000.

Eligibility

The scholarships are open to individuals applying for admission onto the full-time MBA or MBA in International Business in September 2010 who have an excellent academic record and who can demonstrate leadership potential.

Although applications for the scholarships should be made before 31 May 2010, the scholarships will only be awarded to applicants who have accepted their offer through payment of the deposit. Applicants who hold full sponsorships are not eligible for the scholarship.

  • The Amsterdam Business School (ABS) offers 2 scholarships:
