Frankfurt School of Finance & Management Master’s Scholarships 2010
The aim of this funding programme is to enable talented applicants to undertake a Master’s programme at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management regardless of their financial situation. The Frankfurt School Foundation awards twelve Master’s Scholarships annually, comprising
- eight scholarships for the Master of Finance (M.Sc.) programme and
- four scholarships for the Master of International Business (M.A.) programme.
Alongside financial need, the selection criteria include exceptional ability / outstanding achievements in academic, research or professional life; particular motivation / suitability / skills; outstanding service and engagement at the actual workplace.
The scholarship comprises:
- A one-off award of € 5,000, which is deducted from the tuition fees in two equal instalments of € 2,500 (in the first and second semester respectively);
- A maintenance allowance of € 300 per month for the prescribed duration of the study programme.
Candidates should submit their application for a Master’s Scholarship to the Programme Support Office for the relevant programme by 31 May at the latest.
Applications can only be considered if all the relevant application documentation for a place on the programme is included.
The scholarships are awarded by a committee comprising a representative of the Foundation, a representative of the Faculty, a representative of the Programme Support Office and a board member of Frankfurt School Alumni e.V. The committee meets once a year and its decision is final; candidates have no legal right to claim financial support.
