The Programs
- Full-time and Part-time MBA program
Loyola GSB offers flexibility in terms of curriculum. Students have the chance to modify their own studies based on their needs and career paths. Students are also able to choose the part-time or full-time program. However, both part-time and full-time students will be taught by the same faculty members, able to derive benefit from the same facilities and the same one-to-one service. While the part-time students attend evening and weekend classes, the full-time ones have the chance to experience those everyday. - Executive program
The Loyola University Chicago MBA for Executives program brings theory and practice together. Emphasizing on the practical skills required by all business executives, Loyola GSB also offers a solid root in the theory of business and management. Those finishing their MBA program in Loyola GSB would end up being top managers and leaders in the global environment for their experience classes addressing topics of international business and global management.
The Faculty
Loyola GSB’s Faculty Members are experts in diverse fields such as accounting and auditing, business ethics, financial institutions, and strategic planning. The commited doctoral qualified faculty manage to unify their professional experience and applied research in the classes they teach. The members consist of professors with referred publications in some of the nation’s most esteemed professional journals.
Loyola GSB employs 68 full-time faculty, 40 adjunct or visiting faculty and 57 permanent/tenured professors. There are 81 teachers and 57 tenured teachers in the part-time program.
Teaching Methods
In Loyola Marymount, students are subjected to several types of teaching methods. Those are Case Study (20 %), Distance Learning (5 %), Experiential Learning (10 %), Lecture (25 %), Simulations (5 %), Team Project (20 %) and other types of teaching methods (15%)
Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK)
The Alumni Sharing Knowledge aims to provide information for Loyolans who are looking for a job. It also offers them the career-related advice they might need. All is done by ASK mentors, alumni of Loyola.
ASK also connect alumni and currents students in some events or seminars. That way, students are able to learn from the alumni who voluntarily share their knowledge and experience.
Business Career Center
Students and alumni of Master of Business Administration programs (with several possible concentrations) who are members of the Business Career Center put themselves into more a competitive level in the marketplace. BCC will assist them to stimulate their career development as well as ease their job search process.
