The Cranfield MBA, Cranfield University School of Management
Cranfield School of Management located about 75 km north-west of London in the UK, exactly situated in Bedfordshire close to the border with Buckinghamshire. The School is located almost midway between the towns of Bedford and Milton Keynes and is conveniently situated between junctions 13 and 14 of the M1 motorway. It is one of Europe’s leading university management schools and is part of Cranfield University.
The MBA Programs
The Full-Time MBA
The Full-time Cranfield MBA is unlike most other European MBA program. It offers four terms of teaching. Cranfield’s Unique is the Personal and Professional Development spine that combines organizational processes and communication with team building and career planning throughout the program. If you are an international student whose first language is not English, you may be eligible to attend our two-week pre-MBA.
- Pre-MBA Programme
For you who can not speak English or it is not as first language, do not be frightened because teaching and learning system may also use the traditional ‘chalk and talk’ style. It is intensive program for 12-month and prepared for international candidates only who have offered and have accepted a place on the Cranfield MBA, depending on the GMAT or Cranfield Test scores. - Personal & Professional Development
A unique feature of this module is a two-day Leadership Assessment Centre, provided by our Career Development Service in association with SHL, the world-leading provider of psychometric assessment and development solutions. ‘Soft skills’ are at least as important as having the right management knowledge and individual executive may guide you to enhance your personal leadership performance. - International Business Experience (IBE)
The students of MBA can get choice of number of study tours and the cost of which are largely met by Cranfield. The school experience expose them to cultures, alternative business environments and opportunities to network.The IBE choices are flexible and can vary from year to year, depending on the interests expressed by students such as China, Japan, North America and South Africa.
Director’s Diversity Bursaries
It is not easy for applicants from certain regions to afford a top-quality MBA. So, the school gives a policy to offer a limited number of places on the full-time MBA at reduce rate essentially, reducing the fees as much as 50% to a figure of £13,250 for the year’s program.
The Executive MBA
This program is spread two years to enable organizations to sponsor their talented and ambitious managers to study for the MBA while continuing to work.
- Part-time: attendance at Cranfield on fourteen residential weekends (all day Friday and Saturday) and three and a half week residential periods each year, spread throughout the year.
- Modular: six eight-day modules each year.
In Year Two of the program you choose how to apply your knowledge to real situations. And to support you in executive MBA if you do not have a quantitative background, the school offers:

Our experience shows that learning is greatly enhanced when your sponsoring organization becomes part of a three-way partnership with you, the student, and the School throughout the program.
The executive MBA’s students can also get what one’s students such as International Business Experience (IBE), and Personal & Professional Development.
The Class
It has 129 students in full-time MBA and has 68 in executive one which has 31-34 age in average. Male is dominant than female 3:1. And there are 37 kinds of nationalities from all over the world. Cranfield is a friendly and fun place with a real community spirit. Students and faculty mix informally. Two-thirds of the Cranfield communities are from outside the UK. This brings cultural diversity to the Cranfield experience, which is celebrated by many international events.
Fees
The fees of full-time MBA are deposit 1, £200 on acceptance of the place on the MBA; deposit 2, £2,000; and start of program (registration), £25,800;. So, a total fee is £28,000. If you apply late, you will be required to pay both deposits together on acceptance of your place.
Admission Process
Entrance requirements
- a good degree and/or professional qualification
- a minimum of three years’ post-qualification work experience
- a good balanced GMAT score of around 600 (the average at Cranfield is 660) or a good score in the Cranfield Admissions Tests*
- if English is not your first language, the International English Language Test System (IELTS) – result in band 7, a TOEFL score of 250 (computer test) or 100 (internet test) or 600 (paper test), the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) – grade A or B, or the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) – grade A.
We will review your details before you make a formal application by short on-line pre-application on assessment form. There are seven main points of reference in our judgment of your suitability for the MBA program in interview fro qualified participant:
- your reasons for wishing to attend Cranfield’s MBA course at this point in your career
- your academic or professional qualifications
- your test scores (GMAT/Cranfield Tests)
- your career to date
- your referees’ opinions
- your potential for senior management roles
- The conclusions reached by the interviewer.
